Chaukhtatgyi Paya

The Chaukhtatgyi Paya contains a huge reclining Buddha under a large metal roof. It is located near the Shwedagon Paya in Shwegondaing Lan. Around the Buddha structure are a number of fortune tellers offering palm reading and astrological predictions. Like most Payas, this is a working shrine, filled with the faithful who stop by to pray as a part of their daily goings-on.

Bogyoke Aung San Museum is located on No. 15, Bogyoke Museum Lane, Bahan Township, Yangon. The Bogyoke Aung San Museum was established in 1962 which is 15 years after the assassination of the General. The museum was the home of the General, before he was assassinated. The museum contains memorabilia, photos, furniture, and books once used.
